Ive been putting off reading this for about two whole years now because of the amount of hate it gets on Tiktok. I came in thinking that this was going to have the shittiest writing ever but i am surprised at how much i liked the story.
Im not going to excuse jaekyung of his behaviour, he would be an absolute nightmare if he existed in real life. But compared to other manwhas on here he’s not as bad as i expected.
Not to say just because there are worse MLs out there that he is excused from his actions though. It’s crucial to understand that at the end of the day this is a Story, and Kim dan and Jaekyung’s choices are the main centerpoint.
To show Jaekyung’s growth, he had to have something to grow from. The author had to show his narcissistic behaviour in order to start writing his growth.
in my opinion though, i do think the redemption arc of Jaekyung is moving too fast. I havent seen enough repentance from him to make the apology satisfying. I want to see Jaekyung crying and begging for forgiveness.
I love this series so much i can tell how much effort and thought the author had put into this its really good story. The pacing feels just right and i love the character designs so much, they're perfect and i can understand each of the main leads emotions and perspectives. I fucking love this i hope i can create something like this in the future im grateful the author is alive and working hard
the art is pleasing to look at, the smut is hot asf, the story is interesting, the characters are well thought out. this is easily a 10/10 no problems, absolutely gorgeous read
This is amazing! really really good!! the angst really made my heart feel as if it was being torn into a million tiny shreds ! I felt such a Huge relief when they finally communicated in the end, and I really love how they both have their flaws in the relationship. The scene where Leo was looking back at the videos of their relationship recently made me Want to kill Myself and when he kept thinking J.J was Hooking up with the other teams player now that made me really DUPER wanna kill myself! oh man this is such a good read! really good I appreciate this
