The dad was a piece of shit -there no doubt about that- but I don’t like the mom either … she runaway (obv valid cause abuse) but didn’t take her child with her and then went and told him to never contact her again while she’d been living a happy healthy life all that time ?! I get there’s trauma there but I just can’t understand how you leave your child behind when you know exactly how their life is going to be the moment you are gone …
