i know this is frustrating but honestly i really like that luke is trying to stand up for himself and his friends. since this is his first gay relationship ig he is used to play the role of the “masculine” partner and the one that does protecting. so when someone does that to him, he might feel defensive and a sense of pride that he needs to up hold. i sometimes don’t like misscommunication but i have been enjoying the tension on this one. esp since deep down they both understand each others reasoning.
