We love obsessive semes! Also does bisexuality not exist in the manhwa world lolololol
Unpopular opinion but i LOVED Chapter 69. This is def a huge chapter for Jaekyung and the chapter where he seems like an actual human being.
He's been frustrated this whole chapter bc he's feeling pressure on many sides - Dan, his rank, a sudden match, his guilt (even if he doesn't admit or even realize). You can feel his frustration boiling over when he shot water at Dan for drinking again.
BUT BUT BUT bc of how emotionally vulnerable he is this chapter, the sudden thought that it might be Dan who was drowning just reduced him to panic bc deep down he might actually like Dan and might be concerned for him. The prospect of someone's death really CAN be a wake up call for people to finally do introspection or to realize feelings they didn't think they felt. And the relief after they realize the other person is safe and alive? That can reduce anyone to tears. Or a hug in this case.
Another unpopular opinion, but I'm satisified with the pace we're going with Jaekyung's character development. He was such an asshole and an abuser and just devoid of a moral compass, that any faster than the rate at which we're going, and I'd say it's rushed, unrealistic, and disingenuous.
All in all, might be my fave chapter thus far!!! Also worry looks good on Jaekyung. He was so pretty during that boat scene.
Okay something has changed at least... what else would need to happen to Kim Dan that would push Jaekyung to the right direction i wonder
Guys it wasn't his booty Woojin was eyeing! Pretty sure he wanted to wrap his hands around Jaechan's itty bitty waist! Tho Woojin wouldn't object to some ass too
The bottom is only 25,, please don't act like you're an old man yet or else I would feel old too.. we're still youngsters!
I'm with Etienne on this. Rebelling is serious. Overthrowing the empress is serious. What they want to achieve is dangerous and should be done with conviction. If you don't think seriously about all the factors and factions at play here, then don't bother meeting me bc we achieve nothing but putting ourselves in danger.
Wow i loved this chapter so much. I can't believe MC (i don't remember their names anymore sorry it's been a while) decided to be honest at that moment. Is it because they feel more connected now that they're swimming together?
Him wanting to quit not because he was forced to but just because he doesn't have passion to keep going anymore is so so human. Sometimes you just wish you had a more "real" reason not to do something because admitting you're afraid or not motivated enough seems like such lame reasons that they're embarrassing to say. It's even worse when someone looks up to you like ML did to MC bc it gets you thinking, "If only you know how I really am" or when they surpass you, you go, "They used to idolize me but now I'm way beneath them, what am I even doing".
But I'm glad that MC is at the point in his life where he's made peace with it. This isn't to say that he's happy with what happened and where he is now, but it's something he can at least talk about with the last person he wanted to expose it to.
Anyway if the general story is like this chapter, then I'm all here for it!!!
The artstyle is gorgeous, but i always get worried the author is gonna burn themselves out with weekly releases if their artsyle is detailed/highly rendered :'((
Awww it's nice to see how much Jaehyuk has changed. It's also good that Garam sees his effort and decides to be truthful
You know you're an adult when you catch yourself being frustrated at jaehyuk for not listening to his mom lol like immersion ruined pack it up kids
Wait what was that ending!! I'm ok with them not ending up together but i feel like i want some closure on their personal problems like wdym just a few chapters ago Xiao was still thinking that his ex's words are true and that Mo MIGHT work at Xiao's mom's resto but not really sure. I feel like I need more closure than this. I can accept them not being end game as long as it's a done and sealed deal AFTER Xiao has his development
Wow this comments section is a warzone! But really y'all. We get it - they're brothers. We've been getting it for 21 chapters. It's time for people who don't like this to just drop it. This type of argumentation always comes up in many dead dove stories, and it's like a broken record now. If you don't want it, then just drop and move on. It saves everyone the hassle of fighting eo.
Honestly not as bad as I thought it would be for the rating it has. The dove is dead but it's only been a few minutes or smn.
Also the artist's art style is always so so so good
Am I the only one who's ok with the pacing rn? Like if Jaekyung were to ask for forgiveness or learn to be gentle with Dan, I would think the story is rushed. Jaekyung needs to be miserable and understand that what he's done won't fly anymore and things won't go back to what they used to be. I need him miserable. So the way things are going are ok with me for now.
