That whole backstory was way too little too late and most of it should’ve gone at the beginning of the story. Bc now I get to see why Jaekyung… should’ve known better than to abuse somebody???? But wtv bc at least Kim Dan “gets it now.” I almost had an aneurysm when I got to the end of the backstory and there’s Kim Dan being all “oh my God I can’t believe he went through all that…” LIKE YOU DIDNT HAVE A DEPENDENT AT A YOUNG AGE
If the afterlife is doing what we say we’d do for characters I’m excited to take on a firing squad for Lin Shu. I love him so much I might throw up.
