I think that she could’ve have postpartum depression. It’s not uncommon and it can cause you to do a lot of stuff that’s not good for the child. I’m not excusing her behavior cause it was pretty terrible but I think she’s trying now and the husband should be supportive. Obviously there’s some problems in the marriage too, which I think we’ll start to get into now.
