this story always gets you where it hurts.. so wonderfully done. I'll never get over how being nonhuman is used as symbolism for what it feels like to be queer and how that theme is subtly present throughout the entire series

Oh I really like this because it doesn't go with the sensationalized stereotype of a "sociopath" being someone who is cruel and has no emotions. The development was good too, and I really like the characters.
I love the way the story has been subtly implying that he knew, but still leaving enough room for doubt. It made it more impactful to confirm it like this, because it allows the reader to truly understand that he loved hakyoung wholly as a person.
