How does the title relate to the plot? It doesn’t feel like it relates at all.
I just assumed author was trying to be deep since title can be interpreted as bitter and sweet. And usually cigarettes are depicted for adults (Duke) and chocolate for young people (Alois)

These side stories aren’t the side stories I want. It’s supposed to be fun and seeing what their lives are at after the main story. Not ruining character development. Disappointing.

I stopped reading at around chapter 20 to let it marinate and hopefully get the plot to a nicer place, but based on the recent comments it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere but a circle. So…. I’m probably not even gonna bother reading this. :(
This was very frustrating to read. Only the last 2 chapters are bit okay again.
