It can be frustrating when i saw the mc being hopeless and don't know what he's doin especially on the snake encounter and the sheep encounter.
Im kinda slow when it comes to this kind genres and it's making my head hurt. But it's also fun reading it when you understand what theyre doing.
So basically the hatter story was the future timeline where Hal destroyed the some of the org. Im kinda confused why did Hal destroyed it first but it makes sense when you read the latter chapters.
The org which the orphanage belongs to has a lot of connections to the bad and good side, so in order to fully erase those Hal became part of the bad side (Black Hatter) and Sam became part of the good side (White Hatter). Is that right? Or the the black and white hatter refers to the hackers? But it's kinda obvious who is the the black and white hacker, the black hacker is one of the characters that was introduced in the hatter story then the white hacker is the woman from the nbi and is currently investigating the orphanage.
I kinda understand the plot but having to remember many orgs and yakuza make me dumb haha. So i would like further insights on this.
To be honest the plot is giving but the way it was presented kinda sucks. Like you'll be lost in the first 30 chapters thinking why does the mc wants to kill all insectors (makes me want to drop this story).Why so much action scenes without giving any idea as why he's fighting? Like where's the world building factor?
Then here comes the long awaited MC's past.... am i the only one who thinks that a five year old can have such complex emotions?? The type where you want to kill everyone? I meann i get that the adults are in the wrong here, especially the grandpa. He's the villain for telling a kid he's a failure and putting too much expectation on the MC. The mother is not mothering either, she's showing too much favoritism to the MC without taking note of her other son. That's why the kid thinks he's a failure but to the point of saying he's going to kill everyone as a five year old?? Not unless the white hair kid is a physcho (its giving shigaraki from boku no hero).
I just want to point out that the adults are in the wrong here cuz after the fight the grandma have the chance to guide the white hair kid into the right path but then agree to lock him up for 11 years. Then not visiting him!?! Sure hes dangerous, but the kid just want to be acknowledged but they just lock him up below. So it's understandable that he'll grow up with too much hate and be psycho all over.
Then there's the skip after ch 55, leaving me confused AGAIN. So what happened to the fight? Why they're become dark reapers? So they lost?? And why is that freaking ahra being an all to important figure in the story again? Yeah yeah its obvious that shes going to be the romantic interest cuz of how the mc is acting towards her even if i can't see any character from the MC.
In my opinion, the story is messy (or maybe im not used to the author's story telling) but I'll still read this. This is just my take.
Seing Lee Hoyeol walking in the rain with an umbrella makes me remember the kdrama goblin. As soon as i saw that my mind instantly played its theme song.
The last panel in ch 19 makes me think for a sec whos the top and bottom. Hongkibara really does look like he be top but then he is really sexy as a bottom hehehehe
