At the time, I thought it was pretty cute, but rereading it now just shows me how mistreated kouta was like he genuinely thought haruto doesn't know abt his feelings so everything that's haruto intentionally did to "test" kouta that genuinely hurts him, he thought it was unintentional. And haruto gets mad at kouta assuming haruto doesn't like him , when all of his actions genuinely just points to haruto not having any interest towards kouta. The constant hook ups with various girls, the constant coupling and breaking up with other girls, CONSTANT teasing kouta abt potentially being gay and mentions of how haruto also "prefers girls anyways".
Like atp kouta wasn't assuming anything, he just concluded the most likely outcome from harutos behavior.
