I finally realized why when I read stories with annoying male leads or female leads I drop them immediately.
I've been tricked into believing that if they start off bad they will stay bad within the story. Because people don't know how to wrote character development, theres so many stories that end up that way
So whenever I see that a character within the story is slowly changing I go, "fuck that- they haven't changed their a still a bitch, they won't be change" I won't even give them a chance- yo I've been robbed of that experience.
Bunny drop/Usagi drop. I wish it would burn in hell. They had one. ONE JOB. To show the life of a man and his adopted daughter to when she would grow up and marry another man she loves. I wanted SO BAD to see him walk her across the aisle. For her to marry her childhood friend or another guy. For the the dad to find someone he loved to become her mom.
Not for her to confess her undying feelings for him, her adoptive dad?? and AND for the author to justify it by saying, "Actually they weren't related from the start, tada!" They HAD the AUDACITY to not even go through with the insest. They had to make it better somehow, what about not doing it at all? The story was actually great at first but they had to ruin it. But the worst part, THE WORST PART. There was no fucking warning. They advertised it as a heartwarming story about a kid and their dad. When I read that story on another platform there was no tag about age gap relationship or insest no advertisement no nothing. Just child and dad, heartwarming, coming of age. I was tricked then blinded. now I just want it to burn forever.
I wish this wasn't a oneshot- ;_;
