took back everything bad i might have ever said about toki-sensei lol. she's kind of cute in a way (?). like while the board of the school seems to be filled with elitist garbage, for better and for worse she's the one that genuinely just want to protect the students from experiencing the thing she did which is very valid even if her method oversteps a lot.
The whole point of this manhwa is that they're flawed people, with the fallout at the end of Season 1 being kind of inevitable in hindsight, knowing the kind of trauma they both have from their upbringing.
Dohu just... kinda came out that way from the very beginning, and in that way he's probably more relateable to a lot of people reading this lol (Shout-out to all the neurodivergents in the chat), and the emotional trauma that came with growing up that way made him afraid of being as honest and open as he could have otherwise, thus the whole issue of not telling Juheon about his reason of approaching him being kind of unavoidable that way.
Juheon meanwhile have the issue in that he have terrible trust and attachment issues because of the whole shit with his family, and when he felt comfortable with Dohu, he commits HARD. Unfortunately that also mean that the first sign of Dohu "betraying" that trust is always going to result in a big fallout. It's also unfortunate that it happened at the same time as him being in an unstable condition because of having to see his shit ass parents' faces and need Dohu to be his comfort zone... which unfortunately he couldn't see Dohu as anymore due to that perceived breach of trust.
It's a bit of a classical tragedy in that way, since both of their hamartia ("fatal flaw") pretty much ensured that their fallout is inevitable. Other possibilities that could have prevented or minimize it (Dohu being more open and honest, Juheon being more trusting and more "stable") would require both of them not being, well, them, as up to that point there were no reasons for either of them to change that part about themselves or even be truly aware of that "flaw" about the other to try and work around it.
kinda obsessed with how wonky the proportions are. like it kinda circles around from looking bad to looking weirdly nice especially for the smut scenes lol. its giving a more polished insane 90s/00s yaoi proportions and artstyle
Also, do check out the original novel if you guys want to see more of the side characters and better paced story. The author's note pretty much admitted that they rushed through adapting the last volume lol.

well here comes a new villain i guess. or at this point might as well just call them all "Ijin's future victims" lmao. also guess this confirms that its gonna be an ahjussi focus "arc". always love those. doosik is lowkey the funniest dude in this manhwa
