Just like in bj Alex this author loves throwing together a lazy half assed chasing arc and excusing disgusting behavior with childhood trauma. Like goodbyebegging Dan to just get a restraining order theres very little this dude can do to get Dan’s forgiveness he literally traumatized him, embarrassed him, and raped him. This is so uncomfortable to read…he literally went out of his way to hurt Dan. If this horse face is not on his hands and knees begging for forgiveness and checking himself into therapy along with that then this author doesn’t know how to write a successful redemption arc that doesn’t enable or ignore problematic characters/behavior
