So from what I understand so far. I added some spoilers from what I read from novelupdatesforum and comments
First Timeline(FTL):
Inez was supposed to marry Oscar (motherfcker) but she didn’t want to. So she married Carcel. And they lived a relatively peaceful life. Because of this it seems that Oscar held a huge grudge against Inez and Carcel (and Luciano. Not sure of the reason why, but probably for some gross twisted reason).
And if I remember correctly in first timeline Oscar’s wife Alicia? Would poison Inez little by little too. And I think that’s why she died young.
Although I’m not sure how Carcel died in the first timeline. (If anyone knows plz spoiler me)
Second Timeline(STL):
Because Inez died without killing herself but by something else out of her control. She essentially wasn’t punished and so now doesn’t remember her first timeline.
HOWEVER, that monster of Oscar (motherfcker) somehow remembered the first timeline. Although, I don’t know how he died, but from what I understand he probably killed himself that’s how he remembered his past life. Or not and it’s something else?
But because he remembers the first timeline(FTL), he had started manipulating and grooming the Inez into like him. And had managed to marry her this time.
And due to holding grudge of not being able to marry her in the FTL, in the STL he had been graping her, harassed and horridly abused her, as punishment.
The grudge he had was not just on her but also on Carcel and Luciano.
Inez killed herself.
(Skip third timeline to) Forth Timeline(FrTL):
Inez still believes her STL is her first FTL, cos she still doesn’t remember her FTL. But we just recently saw her get a glimpse of it, when she and Carcel was at the river or lake. But she doesn’t seem to understand what the vision was.
From the STL when Inez killed herself in front of Oscar, he then found out that he actually truly likes her (that disgusting bastard), and now he wants her for both his obsession over her and the need to possess her.
But from what they understand is that Inez is traveling back in time by ten years each time. And in the FrTL she traveled back to age 6. So if she were to kill herself again she will cease to exist.
Knowing that Oscar is being careful with his plan because he knows that Inez will not hesitate to kill herself. And that she’d rather cease to exist than be with him.
Oscar is definitely trying to device a plan to get Inez but not too rashly.
And here’s one more thing.
In the FTL Oscar thinks Inez didn’t love Carcel, cos Inez was a very uptight Noble Lady in her FTL (and she was pretty frustrating at time due to her uptightness but regardless of that Carcel really loved her). But actually, Inez really loved Carcel in her FTL with all her heart.
And now in this timeline (FrTL) Oscar thinks that Inez even in this timeline doesn’t really love Carcel, so he thinks he can still somehow seduce her and have her, that’s way he isn’t being rash with his plans to possess her.
