Maybe it stings a little just as the needle pierces. But it's very brief. It's much like getting a shot, but the results are prettier. I've gotten two piercings in one ear, three in the other (one is a helix), a tongue piercing and one in the navel. The least "painful" was the navel and helix. The one that took the most time to heal was the helix. ......   reply

A gun isn't safe to use because it is VERY hard to clean. I usually clean my piercings with sea salt and warm water or an antiseptic spray. I never touch them unless I've washed my hands thoroughly or spray with antiseptic. And I try to keep them dry until they have properly healed. Don't prod or move or touch the piercing or you will irritate and......   reply
