Not an event, but more of a fun fact jajaja I remember reading an article/interview about Hiro Mashima (author of Fairy Tail) reading some BL when one of his coworkers recommended one to him LMAO he said it's not his type of thing but I respect him for even trying

What's a funny event you know about an author or a work?

Recently found out that a historical romance (i believe) titled 'My Dear Maid' had such an abrupt and bad ending, which the fans obviously hated, that the official app 'Màntã' had to issue an official apology to the readers lol. https://www.cbr.com/readers-hate-my-dear-maid-finale-manta-apologizes/
