Yeah this!! AND IT'S MORE MAKE SENSE too since that's how they "grew" wild ginseng there in south korea, that’s why wild ginseng in South Korea is more expensive. Even from the shape of the leaves, it’s different from regular ginseng, and wild ginseng grows without any human interference. Everything happens naturally... from the 'seeds' being carried by birds and/or the wind, to being left to grow on their own, which usually takes decades.
So it makes sense that Mesan will continue to exist. As long as nature and the mountains remain, wild ginseng will keep growing. That’s why some mountains in South Korea are heavily protected. Since this manhwa contains many aspects related to the spiritual beliefs of the people, as well as cultural elements (especially those connected to Chinese literature and related traditions) so i bet the author made message clear.
Yeah, Mesan’s story was left open. He’ll probably come back, but since there was never any follow-up, it still felt unresolved to me, and that was kind of sad.
I kind of remember in novel there was a pot with ginseng sapling on windowsill in sunny spot, and MC was thinking about Mesan ╮(￣▽￣)╭. That was probably somewhere in last chapters, but MTL can be confusing, so not 100% sure (￣∇￣")

ML Lacks emotions and will abuse the MC on an off throughout the whole story basically until the end. The general narrative is “I can’t kill you” but that doesn’t stop him from choking him, sexually abusing him etc. ML is very possessive.

He’s worried about his double chin and nose even during sex, lol. But honestly, it’s kind of sad. It reminds me of that story with The Vicious Husband, where the FL grew up hearing her mother say her eyes were ugly and should be hidden behind glasses, when in reality they were as beautiful as emeralds.

The ML was manipulative and overbearing, taking advantage of the MC’s understanding nature. However, the MC also played a part by tolerating that behavior, thinking it was a way to show maturity and empathy. This created an imbalance in their relationship. Although he had the chance to speak up about how he felt, he chose to stay silent, afraid of being seen as a nag or inconsiderate.
Can’t wait for the next chapter, when ML slaps MC face and pulls his hair! And throws money on MC’s face! And force him to deep throat him. I sometimes want to be a pretty prostitute. Pretty people getting slapped are so pretty.
