this comments section baffles me honestly. if you genuinely can’t tell taegu has feelings for yeungwoon, you have very poor media literacy. the author is being purposely subtle about it like a lot of things in this story, still, the way yeungwoon is drawn in panels conveying taegu’s perspective (in the present) is similar to how he’s portrayed in seoin’s perspective and we all know seoin’s infatuated with yeongwoon so let’s put two and two together. in the flashback scenes, it felt less romantic and more like pity but honestly i think it’s weird to develop feelings for a kid you watched grow up and who was reliant on you as a guardian at some point in time. not to mention that yeongwoon literally admitted he knew taegu was a loan shark from day one and purposely acted nice towards him so he wouldn’t beat up him or his dad. their dynamic will forever be weird and tainted to me

i don’t know why people are acting like the ml is an asshole for loving ian because he is the reincarnation of brian when brian literally told him to wait for him in his next life in his dying breath. he waited centuries for his love to return to him and at the end of the day ian is brian. sol didn’t even force ian to recover brian’s memories when he could have, he’s always been patient and let ian take his time. he didn’t even want to hurt ian by telling him the truth about the cardinal’s psycho ass even though it would’ve cleared the misunderstandings between them. the ML hate is so forced idk. just give the story more time, it’s obvious from the way the author has structured this story that we’ll see that the ML will have to learn to love ian for who he is as well as brian.
random but the mc’s outfits weren’t as good as they were made out to be, if you’re gonna write a stylish character then actually give them good style that isn’t basic 2015 influencer stuff lol
really love this manhwa but it feels a bit ridiculous that we’re about to go on some idol/found family subplot for soojin, who isn’t even the main character, meanwhile jayu has basically no romantic feelings for jahyeok while we’re 90 chapters in… i'm starting to fear this manhwa might go on for 200 chapters at this rate
even with the side stories, i’m annoyed with him yeah kyungjin’s parents made shit hard for him but at the end of the day it took siwon and daun’s own efforts for him to apologise to daun for being an asshole to him when they were young. he was too much of a coward to be upfront about his guilt, even though daun never did anything wrong. sorry but he should’ve just let daun beat his ass without retaliating
this is such a hidden gem holy shit? probably one of the best written manhwa in terms of character development, this was incredible
dulan’s character has always filled me with visceral disgust, he has not once ever respected or treated the main character well so i’m surprised they were people he liked him before this was revealed? karen being stuck in an endless cycle because of dulan isn’t even a shock to me, i always had a feeling he was hiding something. i’m more baffled that people thought dulan secretly liked the mc???? i feel like the author has literally been slapping us in the face with proof he doesn’t respect or love her at all
super rushed ending, karyan basically vanished into thin air towards the end and i feel like the romance could have been developed in a more satisfying manner. so many plot points that were cast aside and forgotten about too. it’s such a shame if they did rush this because they didn’t have enough viewers, this story had so much potential and the art was so gorgeous
