Regardless of what happened to the father, he is the one that chose to bring her into his life to basically be his family's punching bag. Even his wife could see it. He may be a victim but he is just as much of an abuser.
Literally he had no reason to take her in. And if he was going to take her in why wouldn't he at least tell his wife she was coming ahead of time its almost like he wanted max shock value. If the dad opened his mouth and was honest with his wife she likely wouldn't be dead. Period OR if he simply chose to ignore this child... because he had no real obligation to take care of her. But he does have an obligation to not abuse her for no reason either. Taking his anger out on the child is just as evil as the act committed against him
I'm pretty sure she wanted to divorce him because she saw how he treated an innocent little girl and that shattered her "loving father" image of him.
Yeah I understand that but like if your spouse tells you he was S.A'd and he cannot bring himself to be kind to the child born from that are you going to divorce your spouse or are you going to find a better home for the child?
