So yibin said in the previous chapter that he wasn't interested, does that mean that he doesn't really care for Hwa? and that he's only acting as a parent to him because of Hwagok? Can someone please clarify this to me

from what i can see and understand he cares for hwa since it's his son, but he doesn't care about hwa's babies because they are a threat at the moment + they were sure the babies are going to die soon anyways

I feel like it leans more to Libin only caring about Hwagok because in previous chapters he is super overprotective of Hwagok. It just really gives the feeling of that. I dont know its just the feeling I got.

I don't know if the true meaning was lost in translation or what, but I also got the same feeling

It might just be a problem with the translation but by the looks of it, it does seem like he doesn't care that much about Hwa. But remember that chapter when Yibin asked Hwagok to give him his remaining time in his life (before they decided to turn Hwagok into a vampire) after they raise Hwa and when he becomes independent? Hmmm it might be that way after all :(( idk why but it makes me sad to think about it

I think Yibin cares about his son... but he is just conflicted about what to do. I think he became too weak after Idea also took Hwa as a second host. Maybe that explains why he doesnt want to help his son

irdc what others say, the story had me up all in my feels and i felt each character's pain. it's true that it's short and ended when things just started to get good with seungjae being the head of the yakuza and minwook finally realizing that what geumhwa needs is to be set free to the ocean instead of being trapped in a fish tank, but i think ending it like this is more fulfilling than satisfying, you can see that they're somewhat happy and they've freed themselves from the past and it's just so nice, it's like the author leaves it to us to interpret our own ending for this manhwa. i loved this so much that i even decided to leave a comment abt it. kukuku~
