First of all what kind of class assignment is this but either way
- check the people around her for witnesses on how she acted, if she had asked any weird questions concerning religion to them (usually you'd ask for such things to look for anyone in a similar predicament
- any changes of behavior
- increased visits from said "friend" in the last......
