I know especially since the purple demon's feelings appear one sided and the assassin was just sitting on the edge waiting for his death to come. Their story ended so sad I waited for a continuation but then the status change to complete!(〜￣△￣)〜 （/TДT)/

No the purple haired demon took possession of his soul and turned into an earring to which the other demon upon seeing muttered how he was an idiot for doing it as it was a demonstration of his devoted love for the assassin.(〜￣△￣)〜 （/TДT)/

In the story it was explained demon's who take possession of a person's have the power to destroy or keep it. The implication seemed to be if it's destroyed the person no doubtedly die if not the person will live for a very long time with the demon.(⊙…⊙ )

In the purple demon's case since love is one sided it makes that scene so much more heartbreaking as he did something that would tie the assassin to him but the assassin just wants to die which makes that scene all the more heartbreaking! ╥﹏╥ ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
