There's seem to be a lot of people that have forgotten that Ash is in a rut. There is a reason why he's distancing himself with Lyle. Alpha's rut makes them incapable of thinking straight let alone listen to their partner's cry. When Lyle came over when Ash was having his rut, didn't Ash warned him already? Just like omega's heat where they can't think straight is also the same to the alpha's rut. Their desires and lust takes over their whole being. Ash is currently unable to process any reasoning and logic let alone processing that he's hurting or forcing his partner.
