Okay or not okay? It doesn't matter. Once you mature, you would quickly realize that a question like this is not a real-world problem. To be fair, any mythology that is retold is bound to deviate, the only difference is the scale. Look at journey to the west. You have some pretty accurate 1-to-1 adaptations, then you have something like dragon ball.
