Yes the ML is inlove with the mercenary Mason, and his not inlove with Haley although he saw similarities between the two of them (because Mason is in Hayley's body) he didn't acknowledge his feelings at first because it's Haley's physical appearance not Mason's (he is literally obssesed with Mason that's why he found it hard to fall for somebody else) but eventually he found out the truth because of the clues and his instinct that tells him that it is Mason that is inside of Haley's body, also he confronted Mason about it.
Question I heard that Noah didn't really like Mason body but seems to like Mason in Haley body ((since I guess he can dominate more)) is that true?
No, in the novel the two of them had a back story Mason saved Noah from being kidnapped when he was a child ever since that day he can't forget Mason but they met again 10 years later and Noah was in highschool, Mason became his bodyguard. That was the time he confirmed his feelings for Mason, he really liked him, especially when after Mason quit working for him, that day really broke his heart into pieces and he cried. When Mason died, he investigated it and that's when he met Mason on Haley's body, he really hates the real Haley like he is disguted with his whole existence so you really can't say that he liked Mason on Haley's body more abeit he can dominate it due to Haley's smaller frame.
