i know most of y’all HATE mincheol to the guts. but i’m really curious when did he start changing and when did his love for hae-soo turns sour.
because the “before” mincheol would for sure raise an eyebrow on how he’s treating hae-soo.
i mean, the mere fact he used his wife’s name to borrow from loan sharks is already telling A LOT of things. but when did he started to be complacent and started hating hae-soo to the point of hurting the very person he dedicated his youth with?
and he still deserves to suffer, but i’m just really looking forward to these back stories to get to the bottom of mincheol’s massive change.

I get what you mean. I’ve been really interested in the same thing trying to trace how Mincheol went from the sweet, hardworking guy he was in the past to the broken, desperate man we see now.
I don’t excuse the way he hurt Hae-soo cheating and debt are unforgivable but for me, it feels like he changed because his life and dreams literally collapsed around him. He wanted a family, and losing that seems to have shattered him.
