This is such a well-written and honest autobiography. It really breaks the stereotype that gay life is all hypersexual or flashy—there’s so much more depth, and this comic shows that beautifully. Reading this made me emotional. I had a close friend who had to cut all ties with us after being outed—his safety was at risk, and he had no choice. I still think about him and hope he’s living freely and safely now, wherever he is. Mochigi’s story is raw, real, and important.
