I'm not gonna disagree bc i do have a say on how bullshitting this story is but i do wanna know as to why this is the only story so far have you lashed out upon into?

NOT defending this story but i fear this is such an unnecessary comment as this bs have been here for YEARS. And there are newer and more horrible story that i haven't seen anybody lash out on like this. I can take the context that u may not know other stories which is as bad or even more bad as this one in the bl community (highly doubt but it's better than assuming more shit)

Alot of ppl grew up with this story who are waiting for the ending of this bc as u can see.. Alot of ppl are waiting for updates cus it updates like once a year. Alot of these people can also identify that this story is fucked up and messed up but they do know the difference in fiction and reality as i hope they don't do shit like this irl. But again, unnecessary comment, do lash out on newer bs too like roses and champagne

People can be into adult content all they want, but this manga is being rightfully called out because it sexualizes a minor. Saying my comment is ‘unnecessary’ because it’s old, has updates, or fans grew up with it is ridiculous. Possessing or distributing sexualized content involving minors is illegal.

I do enjoy adult noncon/dubcon stories like Roses and Champagne, Jinx, and Painter of the Night, but all characters are adults and can legally consent. Even if noncon, adults are involved and the storyline drives the plot. Children cannot consent, and romanticizing adult-minor sexual relationships is categorically wrong. Awareness of fiction doesn’t make it acceptable, and that is why this content must be called out.

So yes, I hope people keep calling this out because even if these readers knew it's wrong, why keep reading it whenca minor is being sexualized? That just means these people have sick fantasies and cannot look away. That's it, That's all.

most people still waiting for updates have probably been reading this since they were minors. i started reading this when i was 11 and have been waiting for updates ever since. as i've matured, i started to clearly see all the issues with it but its not like its something you dont see in a lot of bl manga today too, not that that excuses anything. but like the other person said, people do know the difference in fiction and reality, and you framing every reader as having sick fantasies is crazy work. at this point, a lot of readers probs just want to see it finished moreso than supporting the problematic aspects. also you can express your opinions w/o using ai btw, which is arguably worse than the people reading one out of many problematic manga out there

Also, don’t even try to compare me to the people eagerly waiting for updates on Super Lover. I have never read CP. Enjoying stories with legal adult noncon like Jinx cannot be compared to calling out content like Super Lover because this is exploitative. A minor cannot legally consent.

I never said it was okay, the point that I made was the clear distinction between legal adults and this story who has a minor as the love interest. The point you keep trying to make is you wanna compare these two in the same category which they're not just because you think POTN is not morally and ethically right but the line is drawn in legality because pot and many other western dark romance books would never be distributed worldwide if it was illegal. Stories like potn does not cross any boundaries except for a person's taste aka those who read dark romance and those who don't.

Also why should I be guilty of something I don't fantasize and don't partake in irl, I know that's fiction and that's where the line is drawn, people can't make that same argument for reading a literal Child being groomed and SA'd because it's a child. The 1st problem (out of many) with stories picturing children being sexualised is that unfortunately, reading this content, while being young, will unconsciously make you believe this is acceptable behavior. It increases your tolerance threshold. They may view this as being romantic, when it really just is manipulation. Because their undeveloped younger brain could not realise how twisted this is. What you see and experience in relationship powerdynamics, becomes your norm. What you read when you are young becomes your fantasy baseline. Ex : Viewing braking-up scenes as being romantic. Ex2: believing seperation is unavoidable and triggering brake-ups. Ex 3 : Unrequited love is not really romantic, but if something in your past triggers it, you may FEEL impossible love affairs as being the most valuable, and as such, enter relationships with someone emotionnally unavailable or someone who, you know, is not a long term relationship prospect. Your undeveloped younger brain remembers things without the "good or bad" label. That's why people with abusive or controling or demeaning parents enter abusive relationships. They might not even see someone is manipulating their emotions. It's unconscious. That's why there is a high probability that all the people who critized the calling out of this, actually have read this type of content when being young or maybe came from unbalanced family relationships, where someone is being manipulated in the relationship. Just think about all of us who watched "Georgie" while being young, the story about two brothers fighting over their half sister and lying naked next to her to revive her after "falling" in the freezing water. How twisted was that, but when you were young, that didn't even phase you. 20 years later you realise how twisted it was. Think about it, a 5 year gap erks you between a 15 y.o. - 20 y.o., but nobody will think anything wrong about a 35 y.o. dating a 30 y.o. everything is relative. Allowing content that sexualizes children and were adults are manipulating children, making them believe sex is normal between minors and adults should not be allowed because it could provoke disruptive psychological patterns that may influence your live without you even knowing about it. Personally what I disliked the most here was the feeling the adult was intentionally manipulating the child, if I still remember correctly since july 2025.
