Does anyone know the link to this novel? And does anyone also know what chapter this is in the novel? Tysm in advance~!ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

https://woopread.com/series/the-villainess-is-a-marionette_novel/chapter-53/ It should continue on from this chapter

I don't know where I'm going with my "theory" but like, what if the executive director and jieum had met each other WAAAYY back in their past lives(if not all of their past lives).... but there's always some- thing(an event/ some instance/s) or someone hindering their relationship to grow so they don't really have an impact one each other's life so they just "forget" their interactions.
I mean, if you've lived in cycle of dying and reincarnating on THE SAME AREA of all your lives, aren't you bound to have "met" all the people in that area at some point in your life.
(I know my "theory" has a lot of holes in them 'cause— as I stated, I just had a thought. So take it with a grain of salt (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ )
Yeah, I might just be forcing the idea, but it just came to me and I wanted to know your own thoughts about this or if you have thought of the same too.( ̄∇ ̄")

Just search up the title with 'novel' and you'll pretty much see numerous translations (I know this has a complete pdf too, type up the title with 'novel pdf').
Tho if you just like a summary or important snippets of the novel, search up the title with 'spoilers' and click the novel updates link.
Happy reading~ ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

[[ THIS COMMENT ENTRY WILL BE AN OPINION TOWARDS THE NETFLIX SHOW OF THIS MANGA. THIS COMMENT IS IN NO WAY TRYING TO CREATE ARGUMENTS. THE SOLE PURPOSE OF THIS COMMENT IS ONLY TO HAVE ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE ABOUT THE SHOW. THIS COMMENT WILL ONLY BE A PERSPECTIVE AND NOT BE CONSIDERED AS A 'TRUTH'. YOU ARE NOT OBLIGED TO AGREE NOR DISAGREE ]]
This will be a long one so I hope you guys with me.
So when I first heard that this manga will have a netflix show, I was hyped because this type of manga is (for me) fresh and I'm happy that this is gaining recognition. I actually haven't watched the full show yet but my sister did and I saw some snippets of the show.
I initially didn't comment much on the "animation aspect" of it when I was watching with my sister as I was more focused on it's story and how my sister will find the story. I was focused on this bc we all know some mangas lose their original storyline(or apects which makes the story work or progress) when it gets an anime adaptation, and I was happy that TWHH did not.
My sister then one day told me that the show was getting "hate" bc of how it was animated. I watched more episodes of it and I can kinda guess where some people might be coming from. We are in the era where everything is much more advanced and we are (admit it) expecting to achieve some god tier quality animes since we have more advanced techs and softwares.
HOWEVER, I personally thought that this was an artistic choice. And reading from the previous comments that the manga author did make the decision to have it as an 'animated manga' rather than an animation, I really think that it was intentional. It was intentional and for me, it works so well that I have to applaud the manga author once more for deciding so.
It just doesn't feel the same if it was animated "normally" or how we are used to. TWHH is a quirky and fun manga with a distinct style of storytelling in terms of approach in the visual art. We can see a lot of sfx and bold words spread out utilized to fill the panels. It is very comical and I think having it animated the way we are used to, will not fit the style of the manga.
If TWHH were animated "normally" I don't think it will stand out as much. I think it will lose the comical touch and its distinct style we all know and all love. Also in my opinion, I think the manga doesn't really have the need to be that fully animated since the characters are very much alive and expressive enough even without use of animations.
It all boils down to the author's artistic choice and deep understanding and love for their work. If the author thinks that this is the best way they can deliver their work through film, they have every right to do so.
Well at the end of the day, we all still have our opinions and we are free to express them however we like as long as IT IS NOT DEGRADING WHOMEVER AND IS STILL RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS.
PS. I know this is uber long, but if you guys are still here, thanks for reading and I hope you don't fight me or whoever else. If you think the opposite of me, it is okay. I am not, in any way, shape, or form, forcing ya'll to think I'm right. I'm just voicing out a perspective of my own. Again, thanks for reading and hope we still support all the creatives out there for all their efforts. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I think that it's being called an anime is what's causing the confusion.
but stuff like this has existed in Japan long before Gokushuufuudou.
They're called vomics, and lots of series have them! Even before Saiki Kusuo got a full fledged anime, it had a vomic series. (voice& vfx + comic),
I don't find the vomics inferior, in fact I think they deliver more than their anime counterpart. The vomic series for Saiki had a lot more detail.

A lot of you guys have been asking where to read the novel so imma just drop the link here (⌒▽⌒)
