what does it mean when ppl say they are uploading a placeholder chapter so that mangago doesn’t automatically update it with a bad quality chapter? how is it possible for the website to do that? or is it a person uploading a bad quality chapter
it's a person, sometimes people are impatient and don't follow uploading schedule so they submit bad quality / mtl chapters and this prevents them from taking the following chapter
That's because of bots. I've uploaded here a few times and a few minutes later other websites starts uploading my uploads. So if someone on another website uploaded a bad quality chapter first, chances are it'll be uploaded here if the OG uploader doesn't claim the spot first via use of placeholder... Then readers will be stuck with repeat chapters etc.

there was also a part where the duchess sent the duke a bunch of letters a supplies during the war but he never received them because of the church interfering which made the knights at war not like the duchess cos they think she doesnt care
