It was alright for me. Acting is nice but plot seems messy and childish (despite the rated themes). Actors served face. Chemistry is definitely peak. Overall, decent watch for the visuals and performance.

Is this confirmation that the novel is worse? lol. I heard the writer toned down a lot of things for the show and even advised people to not read the novel as they wrote it when they were young, or something along those lines.

Yes lol its so much worse and there are others who totally agree with that. Im always warning people about the novel and how Chi Cheng is an eye opener for some and that both Chi Cheng and Wei Wei are also very toxic for each other.

So basically there’s like an entire twt thread and cjd and how she’s been treating the actors.

5) Uses Liu Xuancheng's Birthdate on WSW's mom tomb stone
6) she is also a txn anti bc during txn's rumors/ hate she changed her profile picture to an evil egg and post the bts of ww calling cc dirty and saying he needs to be scolded.

I’ve read on XHS that this is also not her first time doing this to actors so lowke insane and extremely weird.

I hope she comes out w an explanation bc what the hell. Had it not been for Tian and Ziyu, revenged love would be nothing. They’re the reason I even got back into bl dramas and the only reason I read counterattack. They MADE revenged love the way it is and to imagine how poorly they’ve been treated is so disheartening.
