Unlike the extreme Stockholm syndromes, this one feels more natural and rational.
Uke is self aware that seme made it so that he has no other choice but to choose him, this makes him appear rational. And yet uke still develop the positive feeling toward seme, this is a natural Stockholm syndrome.
Seme's actions actually make sense as to why uke would develop a Stockholm syndrome. Like the way he hurt him one second and then show affection or say affectionated words afterward. And the timing of when he hurts uke only happen along the timing of uke's previous actions to make sure uke think it's his fault.
The occasional walking on thin ice and comfort that come after it, has made sure that uke thinks "good" action will come afterwards so he develop a sense of "security" and get used to it, because the brain registered those occasions as non threatening.
And at the end, when seme broke uke's leg and uke in the moment chose to blame himself because he didn't call seme, that's when the Stockholm syndrome comes in full swing and not subtle at all.
So many more interesting points, but it's only interesting from a studious perspective. From a moral perspective, this is so sh*tty. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
