open endings are super common, they’re what make literature good. interpret the story how you wish, the whole thing is super symbolic and metaphoric. todd can be whatever you may perceive the imagery of him to be, reread it if you have to. i think that’s what makes this manhwa so A) refreshing and B) so intriguing. not only is the art style breathtaking but it’s got a level of depth to it.
as much as i wanna hate theo for going back to gunner, i get the mindset, so i really can’t blame him. you think love is enough for them to change, if you communicate and stay maybe it’s enough, and with reality it never is. and as frustrating it is to witness, i’ve been in his shoes, so i understand, it’s not all black and white.
i like the realism with feelings in this plot, you can’t just unlove someone who showed you how to love so easily once they’re a bad person.
