I’m mostly irritated at the fact that the author is lowkey romanticizing their relationship when Dan was backed into a corner. It was either Dan has sex unwillingly or gets beat/killed by loan sharks. It feels really gross and reads as bad writing. Skimming over those details and making Dan fall in love with jjk earlier in the story(season1) even when all jjk did was get angry at him constantly, verbally abuse, and rape Dan?? T-T

I understand that but Dan did not consent multiple times, he can be paid and ask not to have sex in that moment.
