Idk everyone hates him for locking her up but it’s not like his thought process doesn’t make sense. The FL made a complete 180 in personality and actions for seemingly no reason, and right when he finally falls in love with her and lets his gaurd down she sends his most trusted gaurds to an Oasis that she can’t prove is real but supposedly heard about from a secret conversation between her dad and someone who lives in the desert?
It was already sus that she changed, it was even more sus that there was a supposed Oasis in the desert that she just happened to know about but he still sent Anton regardless because he loves her (plus it didn’t help that she hired those guys and didn’t tell anyone about it bc when everything got put together it just looked even more sus). I don’t think him locking her in a cold cell proves that he doesn’t actually love her but I do think it’s fucked up that he didn’t at least have a doctor sent to check on her when he found out she was extremely ill.
