Damn, maybe I’m just desensitized because I’m so used to reading yaoi mangas where the ML borderline (and sometimes literally) rapes the MC, I just don’t think this guy is that bad. (Not that we should be deciding red flag ML’s based off whether or not they rape the MC, bc that’s literally the bare minimum)
Like yeah he’s an asshole, no denying that. But he kind has the right to be? He wasted two years on someone (granted that was his fault, who doesn’t first check the gender of the person you’re trying to marry???) and then was forcibly bonded to someone whose gender is associated with a traumatic memory.
He has the right to be upset at the MC, especially when he MC is the one who bonded them, like he literally says “I can’t believe this once in a lifetime thing was taken from me.” or something like that directly after it happens.
Like idk he acts annoying and clingy (which is just his personality, the MC liked that part of him when he thought the ML like him for him) and sometimes says hurtful shit but that’s literally all he does?? Like they haven’t seen each other in three years and have only been with each other for a month and a half at the very most (probably less), I didn’t expect a complete 180 I actually expected him to be a lot crueler (like him directly after the MC stops his corruption cruel, yeesh I really thought that was how he was gonna act for the entirety of the manga ugh)
My bad for the rant lmao, ML is a piece of shit, but not that big of a piece of shit to garner this much hate imo, like reading the comments makes me feel like I’m legit tripping wth
