This was truly a great story but I have some gripes lol. The ‘angst’ got super repetitive and the tension it created felt pointless towards the end. I feel like if you’re going to stretch the problems THIS much the least you can do is make the ending feel less rushed and anticlimactic.
Otherwise, the first like 80% was super enjoyable!!! Crazy that they give us absolutely no fluff in the end after all that bs lol. It kind of ruined his character for me.
Top tier angst I fear… They obviously have a complicated relationship but it’s not like they weren’t aware of that from the start. Lily has every reason to hate him and he has every reason to question her loyalty to her family. It’s just a lot of misunderstandings and trauma.
