I was very young that i can’t remember how old i am when i started watching anime .

    Nah Nah October 10, 2020 5:44 am

I have been watching anime ever since I can remember. I grew up with Dragon Ball, Pokemon, etc. The main factor in it all was that all my siblings watch anime so I was very heavily influenced. As I grew up, I began exploring anime by myself and eventually I decided to move on to manga, I can’t remember how because it was so natural for me to do so. Now, anime, manga, or novels, I’m in it all. My siblings even know that I’m a fujoshi lol.

My sister downloaded the webtoon app, and I was nosy, so I read some. I read more from the same author and decided to binge Pokémon. A few years later I found out I could read manga without paying for it (I was always interested but I was young and had no money) aaand now I’m here. I still don’t really watch anime though

It all started when I found “Given” then I craved for more BL animes, but there wasn’t enough so I tried manga and got addicted with it, That’s the story on how I became a Fujoshi XD

    ~ANIME~
I had grew up with the shows like pokemon, YuGiOh Zexal, Dragon Ball Z and Digimon fusion, but I didn't know they were anime's. My cousins loved anime though, I remember watching Soul Eater with them. I went further on to watch Gintama and Inazuma Eleven, but not being entirely invested. I watched a few anime here and there on youtube like Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!, Mahou Shoujo Site and Kiss Him not Me. Only when watching BNHA did I truly appreciate anime. From there on, I binged watched so many anime and boom! my love for anime~!

    ~MANGA~
I don't know when exactly, but I decided to read comics on a app called webtoons. My first one was Midnight Rain and UnOrdinary. But I could only read coloured spaced out webcomics, not B&W mangas. So, I was obsessed with romance webtoons, quickly binging through them one by one. Until, I simply couldn't find anymore good ones. That's when I decided to try some BL. My first one was either R U Screwed, Valentine or my obnoxious hero-kun. I adored that genre so much! Thats when I found out that a friend of mine shared this common interest. She told me to read Killing Stalking on mangago, so I did. Then Make me Bark and Window to Window. and thats how my love of BL manga started. Only when my desire for BL simmered down, did I start reading other genres on mangago. Solo Levelling and Black Haze were my first ones on here I think.

I love watching anime n reading manga just like the most. It keeps my mind busy and away from my problems n Stuff. (・–・;)ゞ
I started homeschooling last year.(٥↼_↼) It had been going well but I kinda sometimes go overboard with reading tho.(ب_ب)
And with me using my laptop for study it's hard for me to control myself from not clicking on a new window and start reading/ watching.(^~^;)ゞ
But I don't wanna stop reading(^_^メ).i don't have friends....so I only have my hobbies n manga╰(*´︶`*)╯

So how do u balance your manga and study? Please advise me!!!!!o((*^▽^*))o

    zer September 29, 2020 7:19 pm

im the type that automatically feels really bad as soon as i realise that i havent been very productive

    Aikotaruz September 29, 2020 7:24 pm

    lol i do 2 things
    1. pomodoro, set times to work and times to play and only do the thing meant to be done in the alloted time (like 30 mins study then i get to play 5 mins . if i do this cycle succesfully 5 times then i get 30 mins play, i change it when i feel like i need to do more work)
when this doesnt work, especially overwhelming days i do no. 2
    2. i pretend im in a game and my tasks are work that i need to completev(idk why this works i feel like a puppet doing what my to do list asks me to do)
(i also have a chrome extension that block or sets a time limit on the sites i use and if you tweek the settings you can even make it so that you cant change the setting you changed its called leechblock)

    Romid September 29, 2020 7:43 pm

    I have a v simple way
I do an assignment/exercise/study for a stipulated time and as a reward,I read a new chapter/few mangas and on weekends,I read a lot

    ArnoldK September 29, 2020 7:46 pm

apart from what everybody else has said you could also keep a diary as a tracker of your daily activities -- this is for helping the situations when you feel like you have no idea where you've spent your time or how much time you've spent your daily tasks. For me doing it really made me reflected upon my days and its working great so far!

    imonmyown September 29, 2020 7:54 pm

uhm I don't.. I have more time in my addiction than in studying..good thing is I'm not bad in my study so it still works. I'm lazy and likes to work under pressure ma brain won't work if it isn't being pressured..just like other peeps this is my way to distract or relieve my stress over everything ╮(^▽^)╭ But sometimes I do all the stuff that I need to do so that I can relax..finish early relax early

I frequently write poems and stories, I think that my plots are pretty childish at times tho(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜. And I'm not able to think of a plot anymore. the one i was gonna write turned out to be blooper, so i had to drop it. So at the moment i really donno wt to write (/TДT)/ . can someone plz suggest something to this empty skulled person (lol)(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

    Kyatto July 7, 2020 6:11 am

I get you. I myself can think out of the box but most of the time it’s over the top. I had to do a movie project with my classmates and we were going with a gangster topic, but I created a whole sad story along with it since I was so excited for it. Not really a good thing for a movie project with people who don’t work along. ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ

I would say, choose a genre first and then check out some books of that genre. See what the cliche’s are and do the exact opposite of it. Also for inspiration, why not write a story based on a song? Or just write random things down and make a story out of that?

If it helps, I don’t think I have seen many books about disabilities being protraited in a positive way.

    ȶʏʟɛʀ July 7, 2020 6:21 am

I have bunches of plots... but I don’t really want to leak it out to other people, so if you want to message me, feel free!

Most of them are survival and action, adventure too. But I also have romance plots in hand.
(I’m saying this cause I want a writing buddy too (๑•ㅂ•)و✧)

    BubblyBee July 7, 2020 6:26 am

Hmm... you can try to do a romance story about a person with a disorder, or a modern fantasy tech world with nymphs and pegasi the whole shebang, or a zombie apocalypse that enables people enhancing abilities. For the storyline, I’m not creative enough for that but good luck in your endeavor(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

    raindragon July 7, 2020 6:45 am

some say there's only 11 plots in the world. Others put the number up around 16. Get a book that gives you each plot and how the action plays out. Pick one of the plots and write your story by matching your story's action to the appropriate plot you chose

I m having some trouble managing my time between manga and study and other stuff. Manga is srlsy so addicting, and I love it.
but i really wanna balance everything. I m not able to give enough time and concentration to study bcz i keep thinking "i wanna read moreeee!!!"
plz advice!! (/TДT)/

    yumiko June 27, 2020 8:12 am

hey! i always have this problem so i usually read short mangas that only have around 5-6 chapters and do my studying. after like 2 hours, i reward myself with another one and just repeat! and at night i just read long ass manwhas

    Kyatto June 27, 2020 8:14 am

    Manga addiction can be hell..

I kind of use a reward method, like if I finish working out I can read manga for a hour for example. Luckily I’m not that addicted anymore but to beat a addiction, you have to take time off it or manage it so you can do other things as well.

Don’t let your addiction affect your life! Try not to listen to the demands for reading manga.

    Sei June 27, 2020 8:26 am

I treat it as a prize. When ur in the mood, set a timer of 5 mins and within that time go study a topic. Then set another 5 mins for recitation. You could set a timer yourself with other stuffs. After all that reward yourself with mangas

    Sei June 27, 2020 8:28 am

Do it as if your life is depended on it, cause it is

    Fujoshiho3_69 June 27, 2020 8:42 am

I was like that too I only wanted to read i didn't do my hw or chores and would get in trouble alot since my grades were going down it went on like that for 2 years and I'm working on improving that i had a really hard time during those 2 years i would miss school alot and not do any work its a miracle i even passed lol and I i would barely talk to my friends ofc i do now since I'm not as addicted but I recommend maybe turning off your phone or giving your phone to a family member when doing your work so you went get distracted, just remember you got all this time to read those stories aint going anywhere so take your time and relax maybe do a to do list or have certain days where you read like my sister when she was in school would only read during the weekend and on weekdays focus on other things
