I'm so glad the crown prince and the other older brothers of the fool bunch is on the MC side. At least then she had stronger backer even if the fool bunch does anything to tarnish her name and would surely be appropriately punished. Moreover the Crown Prince and other saw themselves that the bunch fool behave and how the third prince basically cheat on his fiancée. This wouldn't end well for them.

I’m an only child and have never had siblings, so this really is coming from pure curiosity. I like to think of myself as fairly open-minded, so I want to ask: why are people so disgusted by this kind of story?

In the series, the ML and FL aren’t related by blood. Whether or not they were raised as siblings, if they know they aren’t actually related and they end up falling in love—what’s the problem? They aren’t even biologically related to their parents who married each other, so I was genuinely wondering.

To put it simply:

1. Why are people disgusted by this when there’s no blood relation?

2. What’s wrong with falling in love with someone you were raised alongside as “siblings” if you’re not biologically related? How is that different from falling for a childhood friend? What about two people raised together in an orphanage who later marry as adults?

To me, it'll be simply because legally they would be seen as 'siblings' by society norms. And the whole mortality of being raise as siblings is what will disgust me the most. I am open-minded as well, or at least to some extent i try to stay/be open-minded, but the example you gave about childhood friend or two orphans marrying as adults even though they grew up together isn't the same as to the reasons i mentioned above.

Is the terms of logically being tied by legal laws from their parents' remarriage. Two childhood orphans marrying is not the problem. Two strangers who grew up together is not strange, but non-related blood childhood siblings that are tied down as siblings because they are legally siblings by society's law and grew up together as siblings is just icky!!. I hope you can see this topic from this perspective.

Well I’m adopted. From my perspective, if I were to be in love with my brother and want to marry my brother ( because we’re not blood related) I would first have to deny my parents who adopted me. I would have to say that we are not family and that all the past we have ever had together is lie. You’re either family or you’re not.

While complete strangers can marry each other and become family and then get divorced and no longer be family, it is impossible for people who are siblings, parents, or offspring to go from being family to not being family..

If I ever were to say, otherwise, I would be denying that adoption is a valid form of family. That’s because I would be declaring that you can switch from being family to not being family as a choice. I would be stating that family is a decision that can change at will. This would essentially make my family relations rendered moot. So to me, this story questions, and doubts whether adoption or step parents have the right or validity to claim their are non-blood relative has family in any situation. Because it questions whether or not non-Blood related family is family to begin with.

There’s a wall you put down with family members. Your family isn’t supposed to se*ualize you so they become the safest people around you. When they do it’s icky because they’re no longer safe to be around. With siblings, they’re around you so much and get to see so many sides of you it’s icky to think they’re exploiting that since no one else gets to be that close regularly. I don’t have to over analyze every action because it’s assumed they’d never reach that conclusion. Imagining losing that is an awful thought. It’s also such a betrayal of that trust that it can be seen as unethical.

This is the first time I genuinely annoyed by weak FL. I usually don't have a problem with damsel in distress FL but this girl is just no.
