i get the hate towards the new guy and the current flow of the story even, but not towards the mc. imagine him being left alone to fend for himself and his son. he's basically a single parent rn and any parent who cares so much abt their children would do ANYTHING to assure their children's survival and safety. i don't blame him for doing the things he thinks is better for his child. i however don't like the guy manipulating him
