Kind of nostalgic to remember that “Bara” Genre once existed. Nowadays, beefy BL characters are somewhat normal already. But still interesting. Just my two cents. Shoutout to those who can still remember the “Bara” Genre!!!
Bara is good especially made my gay men for gay audience, since yaoi is made by straight women for straight women or audience need kinks and fetish.

Bara is not fujoshi people preference due to show of ( hairs and manly and non feminine body) on characters soo you can read many bara works , beefy is not actually equivalent to bara since beefy don't have hairs on body people just happen to love bulky characters now.
