I genuinely think the mom doesn't actually love Yeonwoo. Like no way in hell would she expose him to such type of parties, drugs and let others basically use him AND ON TOP OF THAT pretend they don't know each other.

It’s very clear from chapter 13-14 what Rosa’s moms intentions are with bringing Yeonwoo into the home.
In chapter 13 she specified ‘she was gonna make her intentions clear for Rosa’ and in Chapter 14 she invites Yeonwoo to a sex party involving drugs to induce the sexual tension between the people at the party.
It’s very clear on why she invited Yeonwoo it was for Rosa’s sake. She wants them to to hook up & if my theory is right I find that very disgusting but from what Rosa said they share the same interests in things so probably not-

So i read the whole novel (yes i paid for all the chapters ) and this novel goes up to ch40 and ends there. So far no side episodes or extras.
After chapter 14 in the manhwa, jihan basically gets raped in like every chapter. So jihan goes back to his room after dinner with his father and seon, and at night seon barges into his room after lying in front of the father that he was gonna be at the brothel or whatever it was. He basically tells jihan that after their incident he couldn't stop thinking about him and jerks off thinking about him. Then he proceeds to rape jihan again and says they should keep this relationship and he leaves. After that night it's basically what he does every night without the father knowing and the servant (forget his name, was it maki? I'll just say maki for now) is the only person that knows what is happening. Jihan is still mentally strong and keeps trying to resist but to no prevail. Eventually he tries to escape and he actually succeeds (idr how many times he tries to escape) and he leaves with maki.
So basically the way he escape was taking the chance when seon was away from on a mission and he disguises as a monk with maki but obviously seon is crazy and will recognize right away so jihan comes up with backup plans. When they successfully escape into the woods while following a group of merchants, there was already news that seon and a group of police/troups were searching for him because they came back early. As they r by the campsite with the merchants, the quickly hide in a ditch or something and force the horses they came on to run away in a different direction. Seon arrives and forces the merchants to tell him where they went and the merchants think they left on the horses so seon goes to follow the trail. Jihan and maki wait for them to leave and run in another direction. He told maki only parts of his plan but the whole idea is to make seon think he's going to another city but he'll really be hiding out in the mountains after he finds a quiet and stable place to live in for 4 months before he goes to his father in the place that he initially said he'll stay in for his health (what he said from ch14) . So this plan kinda works
Jihan and maki finds a place where they are able to start comfortably and rent from this landlord they met at an inn. Jihan actually gets some peace and solitude while recovering from the physical exhaustion seon puts him through every night. They do some farming and maki finds a stream and a shrine past the woods in front of their small house. The shrine contains a small house for religious sacrifices and offerings. So after a month of living here seon eventually finds them. One day when maki goes out to gather resources or find food, jihan waits for him to return before sundown because the landlord said there is a tiger that comes out at night. When it's almost sundown jihan gets worried and goes to look for him, it turns dark and he decides to just go back to the house incase maki already went back. When he walks back he sees light and a lot of ppl at his house, he hides behind the trees and observes. He sees seon with maki captured. He immediately runs back into the woods and hides in the shrine little house. Seon sensed him and ran after him and brings him back to the house. Everyone at the house is already gone and seon tells jihan he will cut maki's Achilles heel or whatever as a punishment and jihan feels guilty. He basically rapes jihan again brutally and threatens to hurt maki if he tries to run again. Jihan agrees to never run again and they go back to the estate.
Basically in the end (im assuming) jihan develops feelings for seon (idk why tf) and seon tells him he called of the engagement with that woman and professes his love to jihan. Idr what exactly happened but they end up together and living tgt as well ofc. I'll have to go back to the website and reread the last few chapters if y'all really want to know the details. But yea that's the whole story. Literally nothing beyond this point, kinda was disappointing for me lol

The story telling isn't strong. The plot is pretty much linear. It has a lot of non-con and dub-con between main characters and graphic violence. Now that you know the trigger warnings, let me tell you a few things that make this story different and unique.
This story has two MLs but there isn't a love triangle at all. 1st ML is a typical stoic Daddy top and 2nd ML is a pretty top with a lethal face card.
Another thing is, unlike other obsessive MLs, the 1st ML did try to let go of MC from his shackles. It's quite refreshing to see, to be frank. And I personally like the MC amnesia storyline. He fell in love with 1st ML all over again, just like the first time before 1st ML turned abusive.
The gangster politics aren't hard to follow so don't worry about losing the romantic storyline between the characters.
Also, keep in mind that this isn't a light romantic story. It's dark, twisted and psychological.
I think, the reason people said this story dragged on unnecessarily is because, it doesn't have a weekly readability like Jinx or Mr. A's Farm. This story only makes sense when you read from start to end in one go. I don't think any event was unnecessary. It just has a week storytelling. Not every artist is a great author, you know.
When this story was ongoing, it was always on the popular list of the front page. I hope people will give it a chance. The cover is fucking misleading.
Also, about the side stories, both the threesome and pregnancy arcs are "what if" stories. They aren't canon. Only the last story about 1st ML's mother dying and MC coaching the high school kid boxer is canon. Pay attention, people.
