They're really making strides in their relationship, despite all the yelling and shoving. Even with all the dangerous difficult shit between them, they have some implicit level of trust and bond in one another.
The admiration and depth of emotions that they feel when they look at each other - when he tian hears mo telling him to get black studs that he may or may not wear and he reaches out to hug him because he has no words for what he felt in that moment. And when Mo sees He Tian scaling the wall like a pro and just stares at him in admiration, and his indignant "I'm not scared" as he reaches for He tian's hand, ughhhh please.
He tian just saw him sleeping and instead of carrying him off and potentially kicking up a huge fuss, he just moves this obviously ill-fitting furniture next to the sofa, and just crawls into bed with mo quietly.
I love the little moments where he tian's just clearly touch-starved and just wants to share that closeness with mo. Though the next morning is definitely going to be loud and he tian's gonna be deliberately antagonising mo any chance he gets lmao.
