Whereas, in this story, the seme really did grow up with the uke (although only a few years (3 years? I keep having to go through all the "chapters" to find out what I've read and what is new and what is just junk. I wish there were a better way for them to do it.
I have to be honest, the story was pretty mid, but I love it so much! The art, the spice, the healthy communication, and constant reassurances. The MC wasn’t some annoying damsel in distress, pitying himself for all the trauma he’s been through and the anxiety he’s suffering from. The ML didn’t try to “fix” the MC. Instead, he supported him while the MC took the steps to grow and heal on his own. That’s what a healthy relationship looks like in real life. Mutual support, not codependence. Too many people go into relationships with the “I can fix him/her” mindset, but that’s not love. That’s control. Real love is about walking alongside someone as they grow, and not dragging them where you think they should be.
I particularly love this convo between them:
MC: …for then and now, I was able to play because of you.
ML: You were able to play because of your hard work. Because you practiced steadily… I wanted to tell you that you weren’t staying still.
This is such a fluffy good read. Best thing I’ve read after and in between all the toxic manhwas I’m reading these days lol I’m gonna miss them

Lmao i’m just frustrated. This story was so good with the perfect pacing and character development and all. I loved it so much… until that ex showed up. It’s good that he was introduced to show us how and why the MC got his trauma from straight guys, but the author just kept it dragging and dragging it. Just please enough with this a-hole ex and give us more scenes of the main characters!!! Especially now that they’ve overcome all the struggles and misunderstandings before being an official couple. It’s already 90+ chapters lol wasting more chapters about this ex

Hear me out! I have a hunch the town people used the dad as a “bait” for something they’re doing behind Guwon’s back (remember the girl doing something sus in the supply room?). Maybe they convinced the dad to steal the medicine or something. I think like they’re planning a coup d'état and that doctor’s leading it. Why? Because I feel like that doctor is one of the original residents of the town (check ch 2) and he’s planning to take control.
The town’s people are planning to use the MC to make Guwon break the rules himself, since he and the whole town are hell-bent on following the rules and being fair. They’ll use MC, like how they used and convinced the dad, to do something that’s against the rules (but something humane that the MC is willing to do it). But then Guwon won’t be able to execute him, so he’ll maybe kill himself instead lol or they’ll banish him outside.
I know, so many assumptions this early of the story, so take this with a grain of salt. Just wanted to air out my thoughts lol lmk what u guys think
