Hi guys. In case you missed the credits page, Kumapub, the publisher of the official Dear Mr. Rain and Dear Hatter translations back in 2022, is holding a book request poll on
X (Twitter). Visit https://x.com/kumapub/status/1951387115100745956 to fill out the survey and make sure to request The Speaker so we can support the author!! You can request as many titles as you'd like, so please try including this manga. There's a good chance it gets picked up if enough of us vote.

I don't like this development :(

Does anyone know where I can find experienced typesetters to help with a translation project?

(Japanese) mangas with the most gorgeous covers? It's okay if the covers are simple or if you think others might not find them that aesthetically pleasing. As long as you find them pretty I'd love to see them.

All opinions/ratings/reviews I give are personal and subjective. I never claim to be right or objective.

I don't give ratings to PWP one shots unless they're downright garbage or absolutely scrumptious.

absolute garbage, no redeeming qualities.
1.5
an effort was made but it's still ass.

not good but also not completely irredeemable.
2.5
average, forgettable.

not bad, decent, good for what it is.
3.5
had so much potential but somehow fumbled the bag.

good, no glaring flaws.
4.5
very good, great.
4.75
almost perfect, leaves me wanting more.

perfect (for me), doesn't need to have the craziest premise, just needs to be very well executed. If it's a dark topic it needs to be handled with care. I need to feel like the author has done their due diligence. If it's romance it needs to be stinking cute, sickeningly sweet.

In a reading slump.

I treat MGG like a reading journal so the notes I take are for myself (I tend to forget stories if I don't take the time to gather and detail my thoughts).

I don't read omegaverse. All omegaverse is trash by default.

Satan loves terracotta pies.

“From time to time we receive letters from readers who wonder why there’s so much moralizing in our mags. They take great pains to point out that comics are supposed to be escapist reading, and nothing more. But somehow, I can’t see it that way. It seems to me that a story without a message, however subliminal, is like a man without a soul. In fact, even the most escapist literature of all – old time fairy tales and heroic legends – contained moral and philosophical points of view.

At every college campus where I may speak there’s as much discussion of war and peace, civil rights, and the so-called youth rebellion as there is of our Marvel mags per se. None of us lives in a vacuum – none of us is untouched by the everyday events about us – events which shape our stories just as they shape our lives. Sure our tales can be called escapist – but just because something’s for fun, doesn’t mean we have to blanket our brains while we read it! Excelsior!” – Stan Lee
