This is pretty good. I love gambling stories even though they make me nervous for the MC. I am excited to read this. There are currently 103 chapters (season 1). Thunderscans only just picked it up, so I am gonna let this marinate for a bit.

Is it just me? I never thought of gyeongchan(?) you know the red-head as a potential 2nd male lead. I always thought he was there just to mimic / give off the same vibe as and talk about the self-harming singer jaebom(?), the toxic ex. Not to be a romantic interest himself. But instead to bring the other dude into conversation. But maybe I am reading it wrong.
Same. Red-head was bound to fall for MC due to being young and never having anyone care for him where he felt close enough to open up to. MC sees him as a younger brother but even if red-head confessed I never thought MC would actually see him as a ”candidate to date” on the same level as ML. They have a lot if history together and maybe they were bound to find each other again even if life seemed to pull set them apart (”the one that got away”). Red-head will probably have a bittersweet first love (bc MC is kind which will probably also feel cruel) and his feelings for MC might cause conflict in the relationship between MC and ML that they have to work though for better and for worse.
Oh no I wanted a time skip and two lovely babies and fluff and them being a family and ML becoming an adorable dad lol. But I guess nah, we still got shit to solve. I want them to be safe and carefree finally.
I thought this was just an actor X idol reincarnated lover bl. You know a bit cutesy, little funny, and they end up together again, end of story. I was in denial until the clown showed up. It's freaking horror??!! And hella scary at that!! Like terrifying, freaking SCARY! Good bye basic entertainment industry plot I guess, it's an exorcism horror story. Also, I am not sleeping today, like I am gonna be freaking out the whole night bcs what was that, the clown is gonna hunt me, the nurse too...
I love how this manhwa caries that 'calm before the storm' kind of vibe all the time, like there is impending doom and we are aware of it but that doesn't mean we will abandon the basic notion of everyday life. The little actions, the tons of conversations, eating, sleeping, falling in love again, being scared and acknowledging it, the almost bizzare slowness of it all. The pacing of the story and the artistic choices are just fabulous.
Every week I kind of dread reading the new chapter (I love it though) because I just know that there are no unrealistic solutions randomly saving the day. The doom is very much real, ominous, and without a quick fix, if any at all. It feels very real, very relatable but for the death curse and a possessive snake diety.
