First things first, heterophobia isn't real. You immediately lose any credibility you thought you had when you use that word. It's a word literally made so straight people can compare their scarce experiences on the internet with real life problems of the LGBT community. Why are people in the comments acting like they don't understand? Or maybe they just don't want to understand. All it's saying is that you straight girls need to understand that yaoi IS problematic bc some of you don't understand how to seperate it from reality. So, yes, it does affect us as LGBT people. As long as you aren't being disrespectful to people in real life, it's fine. And also, if you are straight girl and uncomfortable around lesbians, bisexuals, or trans people then yeah, I think it's a disrespectful to the LGBT community as a whole and festishizing. (As a lesbian, I've seen too many straight girls do this shit. So annoying) However, ......   reply
