i was searching through korean novel reviews to see if i could find any spoilers. please note i am NOT korean and my interpretation of what was said was through lousy google translate lol

the governor does not seem to be a bad guy. all of the reviews i saw were all praising him, and he did not kill mc's mother either. the only negative thing was when a reviewer said he "kissed him out of anger" but that's all. it is presumed garon (or ar least his actions) caused the mc's mother to die. one reviewer had mentioned the governor ran away with mc as the mc believed he liked him enough, but deep in his heart, he was in love with garon (bruh).
on a slightly brighter note it was mentioned that the governor gave the mc his name "roha", meaning to live happily with everyday with purple eyes. and then back to disappointment as in the end he doesn't get picked of course because korean authors love toxicity even though he's like the ultimate green flag...
...and then surprise more toxicity when garon catches him and he basically tortures him ig for running away. the reviewer says he breaks his horns and "fed him with detox"...? i'm not sure if google translate translated that correctly LOL. "의 뿔을 스스로 부러뜨려 해독제로 그에게 먹이는 모" here's the snippet of that if anyone wants to confirm if it's correctly translated or not...
the reviewer also put the snippet of the torture scene. i will put it in korean in the reply of this comment if any fluent korean speakers want to translate it correctly. if you don't speak korean you can just put it in google translate lol
