The first couple wasnt any better lmao basically tag team domestic abuse. They ran the good cop bad cop show with the first MC until he had worn his use. I love how seemingly unharmful fics veil twisted psychologically brain fucking lore into seemingly nothing, clearly its bad writing but this makes my brain run. This manhwa would be so good if this this was dark and psychological but nah its more than the author can chew. Lol good on them for bringing this idea tho idk about the execution however

The manhwa oversold the fuck out of this. I had one rule when it came to reading shoujo/josei, AVOID “I RAISED THE ML NOW HE WANTS A DICK APPOINTMENT!!!” Troupe but this manhwa was promising me slowburn angsty rom with yearning.
Well, the angst was basically nonexistent. The romance was so juvenile, even kisses start to feel like a chore bcs ‘ML NEEDS HIS GUIDING GUYS’ God… MC is not only clueless, he is clueless MC final boss but it was so annoying bcs he is on bad terms with literally every Guide. I get the scuffle with team 12 and the leader but what about the others? It’s implied throughout that all the Guides hate him, I hate that. Basically every Esper is obsessed with him. And the main plot was so Marvel tier I lost interest the moment the main antagonist is revealed. ML was basically your average shoujo manhwa ML who is black-bellied BECAUSE they are obsessed with the MC I hate that too. Now, I will go read something angsty to erase the disrespect I felt by reading this.
