I've never seen bishops in this story's era, and couldn't help but laugh everytime I saw the church people. It's amazing how I kept thinking, I can't take these people seriously, they're like 'kappa'.. and yet I still read this to the end...
At last, this is one of those stories that would stay with me forever in a weird way. I've never watched/read anything like this before. Definitely requires a certain mood to read, not for those who hates mental strain over some characters debating about their ideology/believe.
Ironically for me this manga is what I look for in Boys Love in general. Great story first, the BL side here and there as a plus. Reading this heart wrenching journey of nagireo is better than reading most angsty BL comic :'D
